A reasonable size room, clean and well set out. We had no traffic noise where we were.The bed was two pushed together so a ridge down the middle. We were up stairs. The bathroom was small with the wose shower we have ever encounted, difficult to regulate the temperature and the hot water scalling hot, dangerous.

What great experience the staff on reception Steph especially was great helped us park our new caravan in a safe position on site so we see it from the room window. She recommended the restaurant we were a bit sceptical however what a great experience the food was excellent and the service matched it Thanks for a great stay Ken and Marie

Nice rooms, pristine. Towels fresh - bed is a bed... but the pick of Comfort Inn Ballina is their people. Lovely welcome, equally excellent with courtesy in the Restaurant, and that brings me to food—lone traveller, picky and bored with ordinary, needing vegies. Comfort Inn Chef delivered. Staff, their suggestion was spring rolls - I warn that you must share them as six halves arrive, - they were fantastic. But for the main dish, I chose Risotto ... impossible to describe its flavour, the greens were beautiful and al dente. I did neither justice.

We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms it was done very well and very comfortable the bathroom was spacious and the room was spotless. The reception lady was welcoming and helpful . We had an overnight stay and could walk to nearby restaurants for dinner. Overall very pleased with the accomodation

This motel probably deserved a better rating than "average" because it has some good attributes: the staff are very friendly and helpful, the position is excellent and the cleanliness is fabulous. On the negative side is the extremely small size of the rooms, the fact that the basin is too small to fill the kettle, and the lack of insulation for noise coming from the cars parked outside and the neighbours. Additionally, management allowed their carpenter to start noisy work on the room next door prior to 7am - not great, but terrible when we knew that we wouldn't be finishing work until around 3am the following morning, effectively waking us up in what would be the middle of our night. I think that they need to be reminded that not everyone who stays in a tourist area has the luxury of actually being on holidays.
